God's Garden
07/09/04

Frolicking through the vast grassland,
Wildflowers tickling, brushing against my leg,
Dandelions whisk softly by my face,
My hair blows gently in the breeze.

Birds bathing themselves in shallow pools,
Squirrels hurriedly scampering along branches,
Leaves gently whirling in the wind,
Trees stand tall shading the land below.

Behold the beauty of nature,
Breathe in whiffs of fresh air,
Feel the freedom of God's garden,
Embrace the warmth shining down on you.

If only my life was like God's garden,
I would caress such innerpeace,
I would hold dear all that surrounds me,
And gaze into my future without fear.

A Rainbow's Edge
07/29/04

A spectrum of color,
A rainbow's edge
An array of wondrous beauty,
Illuminates the night.

A fairy's magic,
Touches our hearts,
Sprinkles of fairy dust,
Fill the morning's calm.

Sunshine glistens down upon us,
Radiant rays penetrate our soul,
The dew of the morning moistens each blade of grass,
Like beads of pearls accentuating each leaf.

Spring is in the air,
The birds are chirping merrily,
Flowers are blossoming,
Hues of color adorn our countryside.

How magnificent is our world,
So much beauty surrounds us,
Off in the distance shines a glorious rainbow,
Brightening our horizon with various shades of red.

Let there be peace in our world,
Let no malice destroy our spirit,
For we are all God's creatures,
Inhabiting the land that we stand firm on.

Let not any conflict impede our freedom,
Actively we will defend our country,
For as Jesus led the Jews to the promised land,
We shall defend that for which we stand.

So, let us keep the beauty of the rainbow,
And keep our countryside free from harm's way,
Let us join our hands together tightly,
And keep the rainbows glowing brightly up above.
